Your Driver

Why do I act the way I do? What is behind it? Can I change it?

You've probably asked yourself these questions before. Your inner drivers might be behind them. These are rules and behaviors that have formed over the course of our lives - based on parental instructions and admonitions, our own experiences as children or teenagers, views of our friends, "rules" and customs in our social environment, and other factors.
These drivers unconsciously shape our behaviour today. Especially in situations we perceive as stressful, we tend to act on these automatic behaviour patterns – even though we sometimes ask ourselves afterwards: “Why did I behave that way?”

Be strong!

Be perfect!

Please everyone!

Hurry up!

Try hard!

The drivers are initially simply a part of our behavior and abilities. They can have a negative impact when we associate them with the word "always." For example, in many professional situations it's important to work flawlessly, but not every email needs to be capable of winning the Pulitzer Prize.
I'm offering you a test with 50 questions here (duration approx. 8 minutes), with which you can identify your own drivers. Once you know your drivers, you've taken the first step toward questioning existing behavioral automatisms and replacing them with more appropriate behaviors.

Die Grundlagen des Tests basieren auf Konzepten der Transaktionsanalyse (TA).  Der Psychologe Taibi Kahler entwickelte darauf aufbauend das Modell der inneren Antreiber.
The test structure was published, among others, by Claus Nowak and Manfred Gührs in the “Trainingshandbuch zur konstruktiven Gesprächsführung” (Limmer Verlag) and by Karl Kälin and Peter Müri in “Sich und andere führen” (Ott Verlag). I personally became familiar with the concept during my training as a transactional analysis consultant with Bertine Kessel.https://www.kesselundkessel.de)
Immediately after completing the test, you will receive the score for each driver and the characteristics of your strongest driver.
Your answers and results will not be saved after the test is completed.
