Your Driver

Why do I act the way I do? What is behind it? Can I change it?

You've probably asked yourself these questions before. Your inner drivers might be behind them. These are rules and behaviors that have formed over the course of our lives - based on parental instructions and admonitions, our own experiences as children or teenagers, views of our friends, "rules" and customs in our social environment, and other factors.
These drivers unconsciously shape our behaviour today. Especially in situations we perceive as stressful, we tend to act on these automatic behaviour patterns – even though we sometimes ask ourselves afterwards: “Why did I behave that way?”
